Bert's brew system

I guess this started as a project to get me into all-grain brewing, once upon a time. Right now it looks like I'll have a small brew-pub set up before I'm through! My initial idea was for this to be a fairly inexpensive (by using as many recycled parts as possible) and compact brewing setup. However, it has become a cancerous growth and keeps expanding at a (happily) non-exponential rate. I started collecting parts and kegs while in graduate school (1995-2001). A lot of these sat around for years until sometime in 2004 when I finally decided to make it happen. Since then, it has taken control of half of the basement and I devote a fair amount of time to it, when it's required.
